What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owners and their advertising/analytics partners.
Cookies We Use
Our own code sets no cookies. Google Analytics 4 sets analytics cookies only after you click Accept on the cookie banner, and advertising is not active yet. The table shows the kinds of cookies the site uses, or would use once ads are on.
| Category | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Essential | Basic site functionality (e.g. remembering that you accepted this cookie notice) |
| Analytics | Understanding how visitors use the site, in aggregate, to improve it |
| Advertising | Serving and measuring ads, including personalized advertising based on prior visits to this and other sites |
If you accept, Google Analytics sets _ga (tells visits from different browsers apart) and _ga_T47P9EX906 (keeps the state of your visit), each for up to 2 years. If you decline, it does not load and sets neither; you can change your choice with “Cookie settings” in the footer. If we add Google AdSense, it will also load only after you accept, and we will list its cookies here. Google explains its own cookies at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google specifically via Google’s Ads Settings, and from participating vendors generally via www.aboutads.info. Note that blocking some cookies may impact your experience of this site.
What This Site Stores Today
The receipt generator uses no cookies. To save you retyping, it keeps a few things in your browser’s own storage. They stay on your device and are never sent to us:
rgp-design(localStorage): the receipt design you picked last.rgp-last-receipt-number(localStorage): the number of the last receipt you downloaded, so the next one continues from it.rgp-form:<page address>(sessionStorage): the form you are filling in, and your logo, so a reload doesn’t lose them. It is deleted when you close the tab.rgp-business-profile(localStorage, only if you tick “Remember my business details on this device”): your business name, address, contact details, tax number, logo and currency, so your next receipt starts with them on any page of the generator. It stays on your device until you click “Forget saved details”, untick the box, or clear this site’s data in your browser, and it is never uploaded.
You can clear them at any time in your browser’s site settings.
